Soiree Allard Night |

While not a Corvette, the legendary Allard is an incredible story of racing and a very long history with its European heritage. This story was so aptly told by Roger Allard (no relation) during one of our recent tech sessions at Zekes. Roger went through the whole story for us how he negotiated the deal with the original family to buy the name and then bought the original molds for the car. At Zekes they have been testing and redesigning the original concept to make it more reliable, comfortable and a better handling automobile. With the car on a lift we were shown the complete project and I understand they are about to finish the first model. Roger is totally enthusiastic with this project and already has an Allard clothing line in the works. Bien qu'iI ne soit pas un Corvette, le légendaire
Allard est une histoire invraisemblable de la course et une trés
longue histoire avec son héritage européen. Cette histoire
nous fut trés bien racontée par Roger Allard ( aucune relation)
durant une de nos récentes sessions tech. chez Zekes. Roger nous
a relaté toute I'histoire - comment il a négocié
l'entente avec la famille originale pour acheter le nom et pour ensuite
acheter les moules originaux pour I'auto. Chez Zekes, ils ont examiné
et redessiné le concept original pour le rendre plus fiable, confortable
et une voiture plus facile A manipuler. Avec I'auto sur un monte-charge,
l'on nous a complétement démontré le projet et si
je comprend bien, ils ont pratiquement terminé le premier modble.
Roger est complétement embaIIé par ce projet et a déjà
mis en marche une ligne de Vêtements Allard. Nous le remercions
